Life in other times

Bice was linked to memories of when she was very young immediately after the war, washing machines were not popular then. Maybe in the United States some family owned one of the first models, but that's history! Bice saw her mother doing laundry in the house or in the garden, she saw the neighbors doing the same and not just them. Frequently, when the season permitted it, it was common to use this situation for laundry. The technique that illustrates this work is typical of the post-school period of the 60s, with shading to create a bit of depth, the rest I leave to the imagination of those who observe this image.
