They couldn't miss it! Beautiful flower, symbol of Holland, the graceful shape inspires many artists. Bice didn't only paint these, but if we look at the painting, its brightness is matched by a clear frame which adds even more light to the image if needed! The background is linked to the light that illuminates them and they find themselves immersed with their stems in a white ceramic jug. Very nice.
